Morning Glory Flowers and Leaves

These Morning Glory flowers are growing in our neighbor's yard and spilling over the wall into our yard. I was looking at them one morning and saw that the leaf was a perfect heart shape.
Isn't this the perfect heart shape?
Beautiful pink Morning Glory.
This one reminds me of a Dresden Plate quilt block.

  1. Yes, that is the sign of a true quilter, you see patterns in nearly everything around you...not just patterens, but QUILT patterns !....I bet no one else in your neighborhood could have seen that !

  3. I haven't seen Morning Glories in a very long time, my mother planted those when I was a little kid a very long time ago. Your neighbors are very beautiful. Thanks for sharing them.

  5. I planted a few morning glory seeds in my yard years ago in Santa Barbara and they took over!! They were the deep blue-purple color and I loved them, but they were EVERYWHERE, under the house, over the roof, all over the fence. Wish I could grow them where I live now. Love the heart-shape leaves too!
